Marlin staking has begun. The community can now start delegating there pond tokens on community validators (known as orchestrators)and select from their preferred community orchestrators. This is an important step as it makes the Marlin network more decentralized as Larvanet becomes more community run.

So lets keep it simple and get down how to delegate your tokens

Step 1 — Marlin Delegation Page

Navigate to the delegation page with this link 👉🏻 link

Should appear as below, take some time to look 👀 around.

Step 2 — Connect your Wallet

Connect your wallet to the delegation page by clicking on the “Connect Wallet” button.

You will be prompted how you would like to connect. For the purposes of this guide we will select Metamask. Ensure you have Metamask, have your tokens in your ETH account.

A successful connection will be shown here 🔒

Step 3 — Delegate

To delegate 🗳 you will navigate to the delegation page. Then click “+ ADD STASH” button.

You will then need to “Approve” how much on Pond or MPond you will add to your stash. But first enter your pond amount, enter 0.00 for MPond if you not delegating MPond. Enter your orchestrator address also. Our orchestrator address for Staking4All is 0x13aa17dc704f634a9c897689fff86ac302d3cc38

Would appreciate the support.

Then click the “Approve” button

Will then be asked by Metamask to confirm the transaction. Will see a progress icon where “Approve” was.

You will see the first transaction you are approving the spend limit. This is a view inside Metamask. At this stage no Pond has left your wallet.

Once approved the “confirm” button will come active. You must also have orchestrator populated for the confirm button to become active.

Will be asked to confirm again in Metamask. At this stage you are approving Pond will leave your account and move into Marlin Delegation contract.

Will then see pending on the top right.

Once you get a success message on the top right you are done.

You will see your delegation under the stash section.

Conclusion

Hope this guide was helpful. We look forward to your support on Marlin. Feel free to follow Staking4all or support us on several blockchain networks.
